Kevin Villager was a famous villager from Wintervale. He was famous for being friends with the likes of [[Joe Pigg]] and [[Steve Tree]]. Kevin was also a writer, scuba diver, skier, actor, and scientist. However; Kevin grew tired of his previous profession and wanted to study in the book industry. After talking to the right people, he had landed a job at a new business that was soon to open: The Book Store™! Where every enchant is in stock and all books are 1 diamond! It was a dream come true since he had wanted to move back to his home town of [[Wintervale]] for a while.

== Murdered in Cold Blood ==
It was their first day on the job when, one day on the job, a player by the name of [[Kasprr]] entered the workplace. [[Kasprr]] would often visit and do business with the Book Store, as he was part owner of this franchised location. You might even be able to say some of the villagers were happy to see him. He would come and buy out all of their bookcases for a fair price, which had been significantly lowered due to [[Kasprr]] having saved each and every one of their lives. Oddly, nobody found it strange that he had been there to cure every single employee of the same type of situation. Regardless, he was good friends with [[Joe Pig]] and [[Steve Tree]] from the hidden utopia [[Splash Town]] and had gotten the position due to their contact references. Excited to get trade, the villagers eagerly awaited as they did each time, but this time was different. Kevin Villager watched as beloved [[Kasprr]] pulled out TNT and started placing it everywhere. Soon all the villagers were screaming in terror as a single TNT was lit.

Kevin Villager was 1 of 36 lives lost that day. The area was rebuilt and a Book Store™ in place to honor their legacy. The Book Store™ has also expanded into Spawn Town with an even better book store. One book for one diamond come on down to the Book Store™ today!

Going into business early and selling "Sex Box's" to locals out of a Wintervale shop, they accumulated a small amount of wealth. Seeing success early made them hungry to gain more on the server. As they were an invited player, they had access to certain key community members. This got them a spot working with a few other players on a mob farm. The design and sheer size of the grinder took five players over a week to finish the rough outline. Having not yet finished the redstone mechanisms, MisterMuslie decided that the 2-3 days of minimal work they put in were just enough to claim the entire mob grinder as a home. They built a small platform in the inner chamber of the large structure and setup a chest, bed, furnace, and crafting table. All members of the project disbanded due to the fact that the project's cords were now known by a member who was unwilling to negotiate and untrustworthy. After a short period of time, they decided they wanted more and continued to steal from other players. This led to their demise and burial.

CHEESEPAPA2 was one of a few [[day one players]] from the server launch, who initially seemed to get along well with all other players. They lived around [[Spawn Town]] and would occasionally wander down to [[Voice's Pub]] to socialize with other players over voice chat. They were a running council member during [[Sek]]'s reign over Spawn Town. Sek made each player who wanted to vote sign a book and place them all into a chest so that there would be minimal voter fraud for the election of council members. CHEESEPAPA2 did not get a seat on the council, and their signed book voting for themselves was the only vote they had received during the event. Later in the server's life, this player started bullying others, and after a dispute with another player, that involved burning a house to the ground, they were given a proper burial.

== Criminal Behavior ==
CHEESEPAPA2 murdered a player's pet enderman and was to face trial, which resulted in their first stay within the [[Spawn Town]] jail.

== Collectibles ==
During a town meeting in the first week of the Crafters server, all players gathered to vote for council members. Each player had to sign a book to validate their vote. During the middle of 2021, a player named [[Player:alysocks|alysocks]] was digging around Spawn Town's old courthouse when they came across a buried chest with signed voting books, one of them being CHEESEPAPA2's. It has since been held by them with no intention of getting rid of it, despite numerous bids to purchase the book; it remains in an archive locked away for now.

Wintervale is one of the largest towns of crafters. Founded by players [[Plexiate]] and [[Kasprr]] on July 1, 2021. It's home to some of the most unique builds and shops on the server. Comprised of multiple districts, this town allows for new users to come claim any area and build. Wintervale has a zombie spawner located at the portal, just under the tree, and a whopping 6 blocks below the surface! It's got a built in drowned conversion chamber and an on / off switch to reduce lag within the populated area. Players are free to use this. You do not have to be a citizen of Wintervale to use it either, but keep in mind that this isn't the best way to earn XP on the server. See the [[Earning XP on Crafters]] page.

An assortment of shops are open within the town as well. After negotiations ended, [[Kasprr]] was unhappy with the outcome and chose to take out their rage in a hate-fueled terrorist attack, the likes of which Crafters has never seen before or since. The first target in this attack was the town's trading hall. Killing 30 villagers, including famous villager [[Kevin Villager]], 6 zombies, and causing so much damage the area was unrecognizable. The second target was Town Hall. A newly constructed building but home to the town's valuables. Nobody was in the building at the time of the explosion, but the damage was so severe that it was never rebuilt. An empty plot is in its place. The third and final target was the Tree of Life, located at the center of town and wrapping the town's entrance into the nether. The new tree was built by [[legowarrior779]], as were most of the repairs to city property and buildings. [[Plexiate]] fully rebuilt the Trading Hall and used it to open up their future Book Store™ stores, where 1 book is 1 diamond.

== About ==
Spawn Town was the first town established on Crafters. The town was based off of a village that was generated not too far from the future location of [[Spawn Castle]], where true spawn is. It provided beds to those first few in the world when they were needed. Despite its peaceful appearance, it wasn't always like this. In early 2021, when the server was generated and Spawn Town came to be a refuge for new players trying to survive, there were a select few that wanted to rule over the town as a sort of president. One of these players was [[Sek]]; They created a government and attempted to create a seated council below them to further their roots of power. In the end, despite efforts put forth, the government of Spawn Town collapsed and left many on their own. Today Spawn Town is a thriving community, finally seeing the glory days of new shops, mass landscaping for better roads and paths, and a beautiful [[Event Area]] where server age goals and events are celebrated by the server population.

== Early Government ==
During the first weeks of Spawn Town, a player by the name of [[Sek]] attempted to create a government, which was successful for a short period of time. The [[Day one players|day one players]] gathered to hear what was being proposed since it was all new terrain for them. Players were afraid they would be griefed or have their items stolen. Understanding the fears, [[Sek]] was quick to organize a courthouse to be constructed with the help of [[LargeFrii]], [[Squishguin]] and [[Derpyderpz1_yt]] at 255, 63, 34.

[[Sek]] started spreading the word of the new way of life for Spawn Town citizens. The change made a portion of the population migrate from town to found their own towns or to be isolated in their buildings. However, a few players chose to stay. Some of the remaining players were eager to get involved, while others that had stayed were not happy with the newly enforced rules. [[Sek]] held polls for council member positions that would grant normal players a voice in the matter. Players were to sign a book with the username of players running for a council position.

After the elections, the excitement died down as the newly found responsibility was now being felt by the newly elected players. Meetings on a daily basis would run over 2 hours without much getting done and with simple laws being passed. Eventually, a council member by the name of [[Plexiate]] was influenced by ideas from another player. Tales of equality and trust. A system of communism. Initially choosing to bring it up at a meeting, it was shot down, and soon [[Plexiate]] was hunted down and placed on trial for treason. Of which exists [https://youtu.be/4sdfjWvs_CE?t=120 this video] of the ordeal. This also led to the creation of the second town on the server, [[New Awansville]].

== The Courthouse Trials ==
[[Sek]], on the side, was also the judge for all of Spawn Town and would rule in favor of verdicts they found to be the best within player incidents. Assigning restraining orders and, on multiple occasions, jailing players. A few players that stood trial are [[Plexiate]], [[CHEESEPAPA2]] and [[Ender_Heath]].

A large portion of these tunnels today are abandoned and have seen no activity in over 2 years, like the USSR tunnels that allowed the meetup of the communist party during [[Sek's Reign]].
