== About ==
Spawn Town, also known as Spawntown, was the first town established on Crafters. The town was based off of a village that was generated not too far from the future location of [[Spawn Castle]], where true spawn is. It provided beds to those first few in the world when they were needed. Despite its peaceful appearance, it wasn't always like this. In early 2021, when the server was generated and Spawn Town came to be a refuge for new players trying to survive, there were a select few that wanted to rule over the town as a sort of president. One of these players was [[Sek]]; They created a government and attempted to create a seated council below them to further their roots of power. In the end, despite efforts put forth, the government of Spawn Town collapsed and left many on their own. Today Spawn Town is a thriving community, finally seeing the glory days of new shops, mass landscaping for better roads and paths, and a beautiful [[Event Area]] where server age goals and events are celebrated by the server population.

=== Early Government ===
During the first weeks of Spawn Town, a player by the name of [[Sek]] attempted to create a government, which was successful for a short period of time. The [[Day one players|day one players]] gathered to hear what was being proposed since it was all new terrain for them. Players were afraid they would be griefed or have their items stolen. Understanding the fears, [[Sek]] was quick to organize a courthouse to be constructed with the help of [[LargeFrii]], [[Squishguin]] and [[Derpyderpz1_yt]] at 255, 63, 34.

[[Sek]] started spreading the word of the new way of life for Spawn Town citizens. The change made a portion of the population migrate from town to found their own towns or to be isolated in their buildings. However, a few players chose to stay. Some of the remaining players were eager to get involved, while others that had stayed were not happy with the newly enforced rules. [[Sek]] held polls for council member positions that would grant normal players a voice in the matter. Players were to sign a book with the username of players running for a council position.

After the elections, the excitement died down as the newly found responsibility was now being felt by the newly elected players. Meetings on a daily basis would run over 2 hours without much getting done and with simple laws being passed. Eventually, a council member by the name of [[Plexiate]] was influenced by ideas from another player. Tales of equality and trust. A system of communism. Initially choosing to bring it up at a meeting, it was shot down, and soon [[Plexiate]] was hunted down and placed on trial for treason. === The Courthouse Trials ===
[[Sek]], on the side, was also the judge for all of Spawn Town and would rule in favor of verdicts they found to be the best within player incidents. Assigning restraining orders and, on multiple occasions, jailing players. A few players that stood trial are [[Plexiate]], [[CHEESEPAPA2]] and [[Ender_Heath]].

During the start of the server two areas were founded. Spawn Town and a near by settlement named [[EasySpeak Mountain]]. Both areas containing their own residents. The designated border wasn't defined until 2023 where it was said Spawn Town would span 500x500 in all directions from 0, 0. Though; a dispute over the southern border was brought up being that it was already claimed in the name of another town. The stated border of ESMTN was z363.

A meeting was held with residents of the area to poll which town they identified as living in. This input was taken into consideration and on June 22nd, 2023 an agreement was made between the towns of [[EasySpeak Mountain]], with representation from [[legowarrior779]], and Spawn Town, represented by [[CrafterOne]] who at the time was acting mayor, over the southern border. Finally expanding Spawn Town to z500, with one home, owned by [[imGODspeed]], becoming an enclave and embassy to ESMTN.

On June 7th, 2025 Spawntown's government moved from chaotic democracy to a monarch. Casting [[Plexiate]] and [[RandomWebUser]] as the King and Queen.
During the first day as King, Plexiate appointed [[ApplePick]] as the king's assistant, [[Elpson]] as secretary of construction, [[Sulev]] as secretary of redstone and [[KolaKattz]] as secretary of transportation.

*[[Plexiate]] was [https://youtu.be/4sdfjWvs_CE?t=120 tried for alleged treason for attempting to found communism] within the town. The sentence was banishment, which became void after the government collapsed.
*There are a mass of scattered tunnels under Spawntown, that span thousands of blocks in different directions. A large portion of these tunnels today are abandoned and have seen no activity in over 2 years, like the USSR tunnels that allowed the meetup of the alleged communist party during [[Sek's Reign]].

**Creepers can no longer damage chests. Additionally, creeper explosions will drop ALL of the blocks instead of just some. No more weird creeper holes! Creeper explosions can also now be tracked to the individual that caused the explosion. These changes should hopefully curb the use of creepers for griefing. Thanks KJNine for writing this plugin!
**All drowned, including drowned that have been transformed from zombies, now have a 6.5% chance to spawn with a trident. The drop rate of the trident is the same as the vanilla drop rate.
**Harbor (the sleep plugin) has been removed in favor of the vanilla 1.17 gamerule. 50% of players are still required to sleep before night passes, so this shouldn't be too noticeable.

iMxrk was a [[Day one players|day one player]] who started their journey at [[The Pub]]. During their time on Crafters they befriended many players, old and new. They had great general knowledge of the world, as they were one of the founders, and owned many automated farms that attributed to new projects. iMxrk had many hats, such as in August of 2021 when they were a detective in Wintervale, where they also helped defend the city & wintervale's mayor from a raid.

Unfortunately, iMxrk left the community, retiring from their volunteer position, on July 8th, 2025. Regardless of issues, iMxrk was one of the nicest players that ever graced Crafters.one.

Real life money being used in Crafters is no secret. Many players throughout the years have used their funds to pay builders or to gain items easily in game. Though limited in use there is a history of Bitcoin use on Crafters.

On June 2nd, 2025 players [[Plexiate]] and [[RandomWebUser]] were the first to complete a peer to peer transaction for goods in Crafters history.

RandomWebUser sold one suspicious sand, one suspicious gravel and an enchanted diamond horse armour to Plexiate for 0.00009478 BTC. Becoming the first peer to peer transaction ever made in crypto on the server.<gallery mode="packed-hover">

The first player to consume the untested serum was [[Plexiate]] on August 12th, 2025. They immediately gained a heart beat and started generating flesh. Though, not skin.

They currently remain in searing pain at the time of writing this. More updates to follow.

Following consumption, no changes were noted. It's unknown if Apple was alive or dead prior to consuming.

After consuming just a bit of life elixir they grew four times the normal size of a player! Once the effect wore off, fungiy returned back to just above the normal size. They threw their Life Elixir at [[Plexiate]] and ran to the fountain. They then began profusely drinking water from the [[Spawntown]] shopping district fountain. A few gallons in, [[PotatoWithLegs]] started setting fungiy on fire due to drinking all the water in the lower section.

They then began rambling about the fountain's water being so good. Stating they would drink the whole fountain. Honestly, it went on for an uncomfortable amount of time. He just kept saying he wanted more of this water fountain.

After fungiy0 had consumed their first, and only, dosage they tried fitting an ender pearl into the glass bottle however, the narrow opening prevented such action. fungiy0 dropped the pearl birthing Lenny, an endermite born of trace amounts of Life Elixir making contact with an enderpearl.

Lenny lived for roughly 30 seconds before dying to fungiy0's thorns armor. A sign memorializing Lenny's memory can be found at the fountain in the Spawntown shopping district, where he was born, raised and died in his short 30 seconds.

The first player to consume the untested serum was [[Plexiate]] on August 12th, 2025. They immediately gained a heart beat and started generating flesh. Though, not skin.

They currently remain in searing pain at the time of writing this. More updates to follow.

Following consumption, no changes were noted. It's unknown if Apple was alive or dead prior to consuming.

After consuming just a bit of life elixir they grew four times the normal size of a player! Once the effect wore off, fungiy returned back to just above the normal size.They then began profusely drinking water from the spawntown shopping district fountain. A few gallons in, [[PotatoWithLegs]] started setting fungiy on fire due to the amount of water drinking sounds.

They then began rambling about the fountain's water being so good. Stating they would drink the whole fountain. Honestly, it went on for an uncomfortable amount of time. He just kept saying he wanted more of this water fountain.

Stormy178 is a sly fox on the server who joined on January 30th, 2021, a few days after the servers creation.

He was declared MIA and presumed dead around February 1st, 2023. No body has been found and a grave site was erected in his name.



Stormy178 has returned, from a world of unknown origin as a ghostly spirit on May 30th, 2023, but because he was summoned, he has no physical body. His original body still has not been found.

Following a project he called Scorched Earth, he ended up blowing up another player's base, and subsequently vanished as the TNT was exploding.



Nearly two years after his disappearance, a special message appears.

''I do not plan to return, however, I relay some final bits of information.''

''I have zero regrets blowing up the Pub, Lego has had it coming for a long time.''

''I hope that Project Scorched Earth and this message sparks actual change in how moderation and punishments are handled.''

''Pub Go Boom forever and eternally.''
