Alysocks is a player who joined on the 30th of January, 2021. They go by the nickname Aly, and lives in the Cloud district of Wintervale. They have been a volunteer since the 20th of September, 2021.

1. Lore

Backstory-

Aly grew up as the child of a humble potato and wheat farmer, far out into the landscape of the plains of Crafters, far from any other civilisation. It was there that they learned the fundamentals of farming, which would become important later on in their life. For many years, they lived on this farm, eating potatoes and bread, until one day, their parent fell ill. On their deathbed, Aly promised them that they would take care of their beloved farm as a tribute to them. They kept this promise for many years, but after one too many hard winters and dry summers, they were forced to reconsider their choice. They decided to pack up their things and find a new home. They travelled for a while, eventually coming across a lively town, formed partly under and within a curling mountain called EasySpeak Mountain. There they were taken in by the locals, and were given a room to call their own. Past- Aly lived in the Pub in EasySpeak Mountain for a long period of time, making friends and becoming integrated with the community around them. They helped build, gather, mine, and farm. With their background in farming, they became a key part of the community's food supply chain, with bread, potatoes, carrots and beetroots for anyone who needed it. They felt accepted and happy with their new life, with friends all around them. It was when the anniversary of their parent's death graced upon them that they were plunged into a deep period of social isolation. Many times had this anniversary passed them, yet it was this time that it had so deeply affected them that it took a toll on them so badly. They had suddenly remembered their promise to their parent, too keep the farm alive and well after they had gone, that they started to feel guilty and depressed that they had abandoned that promise. As a result, they packed their shulkers, and took off into the wild to try to find the farm. After a period of time, the locals started to notice Aly's absence, and many were starting to feel worried. It had been so long since Aly had last been to the farm that they didn't know where it was, and became stranded in the wild, lost and alone. They retraced their steps, at with the cover of nightfall, came back to the Pub. It was then that they decided that they wanted to move home, somewhere new, somewhere in the proximity of people, but far enough that it felt closer to home. They settled in a town called Wintervale, and built a house on the top of a hill just outside the central portal and market area. They set up a potato farm, and as a source of income, sold them to the locals, calling them Alypotatoes. The rise of Alypotatoes- Alypotatoes became increasingly popular within Wintervale, becoming the talk of the town with new customers pouring in left and right. In the morning, customers would line up outside their door on top of the hill to buy their daily stack of potatoes. Aly decided to create a dedicated location to sell these potatoes, which they decided to build beside their house, named the Alypotato shack. Eventually, the demand outweighed the supply and Aly had to create a large potato patch to manage the large flow of orders. Where this patch is unknown to the public, as they never let anyone see it or know where it is. Rumour has it, it's a huge several-storey farm, with rows upon rows of anvils and farmland. Present- Over time, many others moved into the area upon Aly built their house, eventually amassing enough occupants to qualify as an officially recognised District, of which the name was decided to be Cloud District. That is where they live today, happily selling Alypotatoes and fishing in the river in the valley below.

Achievements and Notable events- The Highway Men: Aly, along with Plexiate, formed the first iteration of the Highway Men in mid-2021 as a group whose aim it was to create a path from coordinate (00,00) out to the world border in every direction (North, south, east, and west). The first 3-person marriage: In early 2021, Aly, along with LiliTheOwl and NoVoiceChanger, formed the first 3 person marriage on top of the EasySpeak Mountain, which still remains a historic wedding site today. The Potato Rivalry: In late 2022, a competitor went up against Alypotatoes in an attempt to destroy the face of the company and Aly by making potatoes with a different name, and trying to win over the locals of Wintervale, Spawn Town and SpeakEasy. However, they failed. Alypotatoes remained the primary choice for the locals.
